Upset Recovery Training (URT), Citabria Adventure

This course provides training in stalls, spins, and various recovery methods from unusually attitudes. The goal of the program is to build both the students comfort and confidence with stall, spins, and extreme unusual attitudes.

Spin endorsements is included if needed.

The URT is broken into 3 flights (phases)

URT ground training consists of 4.5 hours total. 1.0 is conducted before each flight and 0.5 is conducted during a debrief.

URT flight training consists of 3 hours total. This can sometimes take more depending on the students progress.

Ground training rates are $55 per hour.

Flight Training rates are $310 per hour. (Engine start to shutdown) This rate includes fuel, instructor, and parachute use.

Essential Aerobatic Training (EAT), Citabria Adventure

This course includes all of the training in URT and takes a step forward to include the training necessary to become proficient in essential aerobatics. The goal of this program is to become proficient in upset recovery, spins, rolls, and loops. The essentials of aerobatics.

EAT ground training consists of 7.5 total hours. 1.0 is conducted before each flight and 0.5 is conducted during a debrief.

EAT flight training consists of 5 hours total. Can vary depending on student.

Ground training rates are $55 per hour.

Intermediate Aerobatics Training (IAT), Citabria Adventure/ (Extra 300L different rates)

This course is only to be completed after EAT training is complete.

This goal of this course is to focus on more advanced maneuvers as well as combining maneuvers together to create a series. Vertical flight, hammer-heads, and cuban-eights are examples of some of the maneuvers explored. This course allows the student to be more creative with their flying and create a unique series of maneuvers.

IAT ground training consists of 7.5 total hours. 1.0 is conducted before each flight and 0.5 is conducted during a debrief.

Advanced Aerobatic Training (AAT), Extra 300L

This course takes the skill’s developed in EAT and IAT and allows the pilot to fly a high performing aerobatic aircraft. AAT takes pilots on a wild ride through vertical rolls, tail-slides, inverted flight/spins, tumbles, and much more.

Course time and rates vary.

Tailwheel Endorsement Training, Citabria Adventure

Time required varies. Usually between 8 and 15 hours.

Ground training rates are $55 per hour.

Flight Training rates are $310 per hour.

STOL (Short Takeoff & Landing) Training, Maule MX-7-235
